I'm pretty sure the worst thing about the month of August is the inevitable close of summer. And for the unfortunate few, having to go back to school. I saw a 'back to school' commercial the other day and immediately died a little bit inside remembering how awful the thought of going back to school sounded. Thank the Lord that time in my life is over! But I do miss buying new notebooks and fancy pens. And maybe the occasional Trapper Keeper, but don't tell anyone that. Trapper Keepers aren't cool when you're 26. Anywho, to make that transition from the vacation-filled lazy days of summer to bagged lunches, mean teachers, and riding the bus with that weird kid that's always picking his nose a little easier, me and a few fabulous bloggers (I mean, check out the company I'm keeping, even I can't believe it) are giving YOU the chance to win $1,000 smackaroos! Use it to buy new duds, a fresh new do, or $1,000 worth of cool pens and Trapper Keepers. Whatever floats your boat, people. I don't judge.
