Just a Few of My Favorite Things & a Giveaway!

Hi friends!
Let's give a warm welcome to my January Feature Sponsor, Erin! She's got a few fun things to share with you today...and a really generous giveaway, too! Take it away, girl!

I'm Erin and I blog at Just a Few of My Favorite Things! I'm excited to share a little about myself on Casey's fabulous blog!

I have many favorite things I love to blog about including:

My favorite nail polishes--I have a substantial collection of nail polishes and probably what many would say is too many bottles of Essie nail polish, but they are just so cute and I love their hilarious names.  My current favorite one is Trophy Wife--what a great color!

My favorite books: Nicholas Sparks is my absolute favorite author! Although his books usually make me cry, he is SUCH a good writer! Safe Haven is one of my favorite books by him and it's also being made into a movie that's coming out soon!

My favorite sports team:
I've been a Washington Redskins fan for most of my life and my family has season tickets, so I get to go to lots of their games each year, which is always a blast! One time I got to go on a behind-the-scenes tour of the locker room, which was sooo cool! (Unfortunately a super handsome/successful Redskins player did NOT immediately fall head over heels for me and ask me to marry him, which was kind of my secret hope. Actually it wasn't a secret because I talked about it possibly happening practically all day, haha!!)

And my favorite hobby: I love anything arts-and-crafts related and today I thought I'd share a cute and SUPER easy craft that I've seen hopping around Pinterest: making an adorable to-do list using scrapbook paper and a picture frame!

Here are the supplies you'll need:
- scrapbook or colored paper
- a picture frame (I found this one for about $5 at Kmart!)
- tape/scissors
- Sharpie marker
- Dry Erase marker

First, you need to select the paper you want for your picture frame To Do List (I am totally not exaggerating when I say this was the hardest part of this little project).

Take out the paper that comes in picture frames to measure out the right size and then cut out a piece of the scrapbook paper so that it will fit in the frame.

Take your Sharpie and write "To Do" on the scrapbook paper before putting the paper into the frame. (I taped mine down before closing the frame because I didn't want it moving around, but I don't think it will matter too much if you don't!)

Now you have a really adorable and easy to see To-Do list! And if you use the dry erase marker to write ON the frame glass, it will rub right off! Seriously, how easy and fun was that??! I actually did this for my two best friends as part of their Christmas gift and they loved it! :) (Or at least they told me they did....haha ;))

Thank you Casey for letting me hang out on your blog today!!

Happy to have you, Erin! Please head on over to Erin's blog and leave her lots of love! OH, and don't forget to enter to win a few of Erin's favorite things in her giveaway below!
